Gregory Harris
President and Co-Owner of Harris Insurance Services, Inc.
Gregory Harris stands as a prominent figure in the insurance industry, particularly known for his role as the President and co-owner of Harris Insurance Services, Inc. His journey in the world of insurance is not just a career choice but a continuation of a family legacy, being part of a 3rd generation family business. The Harris family has been involved in the industry for decades, starting with his grandfather, Donald A. Harris. His father, Jim Harris, then led Harris Insurance from 1988 until its sale in 1998. This family background laid the foundation for Gregory’s deep understanding of the industry’s nuances and his future role in the company.
Gregory’s approach to insurance goes beyond mere business transactions. He enjoys assisting people with risk management tools to prevent losses, aligning with his primary goal of supporting clients through risk management and insurance transfer. He holds a strong opinion that the insurance industry needs to be vigilant against exploitation by personal injury attorneys, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the integrity of the sector.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gregory is deeply rooted in his community. He and his wife are raising their four children, staying actively involved in their school and sports activities. When not spending time with his family, Gregory enjoys playing golf. This passion offers him a welcome respite from the demanding world of insurance and risk management, providing a balanced and fulfilling professional life.
Chris Summers
Vice President and Co-Owner of Harris Insurance Services, Inc
Chris Summers is the Vice President and co-owner of Harris Insurance Services, Inc. He has lived in Southern Nevada since the mid 1980’s and is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). He has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and maintains the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations.
Chris has had the privilege of working in a variety of capacities within large and small insurance agencies over his career. He was previously a Managing Producer for a large, publicly traded agency with operations throughout the United States.
Educating clients about Property & Casualty insurance has been a common theme throughout Chris’ career and some say it has been his modus operandi. He still enjoys working with companies of various sizes and stages from start-up to succession. A hands-on, direct approach with clients is still his preferred style. After working with Greg Harris to re-start Harris Insurance in 2011, Chris has continued to focus on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with individuals and companies in the construction industry.
When Chris is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys playing golf and hanging out with friends.
